American Express will host a pop-up NBA 2K23 experience outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles on the 10th and 11th of December. The Los Angeles Clippers' Paul George and the Seattle Storm's Breanna Stewart will square off in an NBA 2K23 matchup at a pop-up event that will be broadcast live on the NBA's Twitch channel on Friday.

In October, American Express renewed its agreement to serve as the official credit card of the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League. Among the features of the pop-up experience will be a Face Scan Studio, where visitors can upload facial images in order to appear as playable characters in NBA 2K's MyPlayer mode, among other things. Members of American Express will also receive codes that will allow them to access exclusive digital merchandise to outfit their in-game NBA2K MyPlayers characters.

NBA 2K23 purchasers who use their American Express card to make their purchase on the 2K Store will receive 35,000 in virtual currency that can be used to purchase in-game items. The pop-up, which will be draped in mirrors from floor to ceiling, will attempt to replicate the sights and sounds of the video game. Signs at Staples Center are being taken down as the venue prepares to be known as Crypto. com Arena beginning with the Lakers' and Nets' game on Christmas Day, which will take place at the venue.

Player ratings for the Utah Jazz in NBA 2K23 have been updated.

Donovan Mitchell, guard for the Utah Jazz, has a 2K rating of 88 (-1).

- The fact that Spida's rating has taken a slight dip since the start of the season, whether Utah Jazz fans like NBA 2K23 MT Safe For Sale (buy them here) or not, seems reasonable

- After all, his numbers have remained consistent between the previous season and the current season

Mitchell averaged 26.4 points per game last season while shooting 43.8% from the field, 38.6% from beyond the arc, and 84.5% from the free throw line for the Pacers. This season, he's averaging 24.2 points per game while shooting 44.6/33.7/88.5 percent in each of the three categories.

Naturally, the category with the most significant drop-off between seasons is that of points per game scored. The fact that he is averaging 24.2 points per game is still impressive, especially considering that he is a member of a Utah Jazz team that currently ranks first in the NBA in terms of offensive rating (117.76). The Jazz may not require any additional contributions from him, but the NBA 2K staff may require additional contributions from him in order to justify maintaining his 89 overall rating.

Mitchell has generally improved as the season has progressed, and Jazz fans can anticipate that his 2K rating will eventually be adjusted to reflect this improvement. In the meantime, such a slight decrease in his overall rating appears to be reasonable.

Bojan Bogdanovic, forward for the Utah Jazz, has a 2K rating of 81 (+1).
As much as Donovan Mitchell may have earned his -1 point deduction, Utah Jazz point guard Bojan Bogdanovic is just as deserving of his +1 point increase.

In order to justify Mitchell's lower rating, we used his decline in raw points per game, and if we applied the same logic to Bogdanovic, he'd be forced to suffer the same fate as Mitchell. Bogey is averaging 16.8 points per game this season, which represents a very slight decrease from the 17.0 points per game he averaged last season.

His improved three-point accuracy, on the other hand, is what helps him justify his rating increase. Bogdanovic is averaging 6.2 three-point attempts per game this season, good for a 40.8% shooting percentage. Players who shoot 40% or higher on a high volume of three-point attempts are among the most sought-after commodities in the NBA today. When you combine Bogdanovic's long-distance accuracy with his overall scoring prowess, it's easy to see why NBA 2K's developers felt NBA 2K23 MT Safe For Sale necessary to give him a small rating boost.
